There are many ways to visit Tuscany. One of the best is to spend your vacation in the green heart of the Casentino Valley which is close  to the main sights you might want to visit and far from pollution, hassle and expensive city hotels  and restaurants .

Our beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse offers such an opportunity. Although Italy is densely populated , our farm gives you a chance to enjoy the total freedom and silence of this place completely surrounded by our fields and woods of chestnuts, oaks and pines, not forgetting here and there  cypresses and olive trees. The nearby medieval borough of Poppi  is barely a mile away. From there you can take the bus  (to Firenze 55 km) or the train to Arezzo (35 km), Perugia, Rome..

Our two self -catering apartments allow you , even far from home, to do your own cooking and to enjoy your meal on the terrace bathed  in that special  mellow Tuscan atmosphere. Dante and St. Francis of Assisi in former times did find it worth to spend  here in Casentino part of  their lives we hope you will find it worth  your vacation too.

As you might find out if you pass this way this agriturismo is dedicated to travellers. World travellers for many years ourselves we settled down here by choice. Wherever you come from we hope, being all of us fluent in at least three languages, to be able, if you feel like it, to converse without being reduced to  basic greetings and hand gestures.
